Having the best LED bike light possible is key if you do any kind of bike riding. Seeing everything in your path is important, but so is visibility to potential oncoming traffic. That means you need a bike light that is:
- Bright enough
- Multiple light modes (Strobe, beam, variable power)
- Rechargeable (If you ride consistently at all, batteries are a hassle)
So what’s my pick?
My pick for the best led light for your bike would have to be the Bright Eyes on Amazon. Not only does it hit the criteria above, but it has a massive amount of customer reviews (2400 at the time of this writing) with an outstanding rating.
It also packs quite a punch providing 1200 lumens of lighting. That is VERY bright. Best of all though, it doesn’t skimp on battery life because it uses an external battery. As per the description, it provides 3+ hours of lighting on high, 5 hours on medium, and 26+ hours on low.
It’s very cool to be able to adjust the power based on what you need at the moment to get the most time out it. It would be pretty bad if all you had was the high power setting, but didn’t need that much light.
The light comes with the LED head lamp itself, four O rings for easy mounting on your handle bars, the external battery (8.4V 6400mAh) with the charger, and a free bonus head harness for the lamp! I think it’s so cool that you aren’t confined to using the head lamp on the bike. If you’ve ever been camping or hiking at night, you know how useful it is to have a head lamp on to guide the way and keep your hands free.
Putting it all together
I think this is easily the best LED bike light available for the money. It’s very versatile in how you can use it, and it does everything you could want from a bike light. It’s easy to use and mount too which is important because no one wants to deal with a product that is poorly designed and hard to use, right?
You also have a huge amount of reviews on Amazon itself which lends a lot of credibility over cheaper bike lights that may only have 10 or 20 reviews.
